Robert J. Doherty, Founder and General Manager.
Mr. Doherty manages and operates a world-class network operations center that provides the resource backbone for
Vosity's specialized digital product management and Internet-distribution solutions and e-business services.
Previously, Mr. Doherty founded ViaTech Technologies Inc. and led the product development, and
overall business development of the patented eLicense™ Digital Rights Management System. Mr. Doherty also
managed the Company's business services, e-business initiatives and strategic partnership programs.
Mr. Doherty has over 25 years of experience leading and managing the design, development, and launch
of core software technologies as well as commercial application software products, for such companies
as Computervision and Prime Computer.
Mr. Doherty graduated from Boston College in 1978 with a B.A. in Mathematics and a minor in Computer Science.
Mr. Doherty also received his M.S. in Engineering Management with a concentration in Computer and Information
Systems from Northeastern University.
Robert A. Walsh, Managing Partner.
Mr. Walsh, managing partner with Vosity, has performed senior business development roles with Advanced Technology Partners,
a software development company employing digital software download licensing and On-Demand Solutions, an emerging company that
provided a technical infrastructure to deliver a turnkey "Web to warehouse to customer" business model. The company was founded
in 1996 and grew to generate approximately $12M in revenues within 16 months and subsequently was acquired by CMGI in 1998.
Prior to his role at these two firms, Mr. Walsh was a principle of Coral Rock Technologies which integrated Cellular Digital Packet Data
(CDPD) data transmission systems over analog cellular infrastructures. At Coral Rock, he established exclusive distribution
agreements with several OEM's, including Tellabs (formerly Steinbrecher), Telos Engineering, Retix and Cincinnati Microwave
for the sale and integration of these products into the Latin American markets.
In addition, Mr. Walsh also served as Vice President for Sales at Fidelity Management Trust Company,
the division that promoted Fidelity's pension asset management to Fortune 500 companies. He was a Senior Vice
President at The Boston Company, responsible for product management and marketing for new product development
targeting Fortune 500 pension accounts.
Subsequent to that Mr. Walsh was the Director of Marketing and Senior Vice President at Mellon Bank
Investment Management Services. In that position, he was responsible for sales and marketing of all US and
foreign investment products for Mellon.
Brian Giamo, Marketing and Business Development Consutant
Mr. Giamo is a Co-Managing Partner with Channel Economics, LLC. In addition to his management responsibilities, Mr. Giamo works directly
with clients senior management to provide strategic insights and direction on how to better market to,
sell to and serve their customers. Defining e-Business process automation improvements and e-marketing strategies are
components of client business model successes.
Prior to Channel Economics, Mr. Giamo led numerous consulting engagements in his roles as a
Senior Manager within Siebel Systems CRM strategy group and as an Associate at Market Bridge, a boutique sales and marketing
consultancy based in Bethesda, MD. Mr. Giamo's past clients span multiple industries and represent some of the World's leading
companies, such as; Caterpillar, Motorola, Fidelity Investments, Capital One, 3Com.
Mr. Giamo began his career at Opinion Research Corporation as a Market Researcher in Princeton, NJ.
Mr. Giamo holds a BBA in Marketing from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA.
Alex Aldag, Sales and Marketing Consutant
Mr. Aldag is a Co-Managing Partner with Channel Economics, LLC. Mr. Aldag works closely with clients
to help them understand the financial implications of their current go-to-market strategies and how to
acheive improved financial performance in the future by making specific, high impact changes to the way in which
they market to, sell to and serve their customers.
Prior to Channel Economics, Mr. Aldag worked in a number of different consulting capacities as a Senior Manager
within Siebel Systems CRM strategy group and as a Consultant at Market Bridge, a boutique sales and marketing
consultancy based in Bethesda, MD. Mr. Aldag has worked extensively with management at Fortune 1000 companies on
issues related to sales, marketing and customer support. Some of Mr Aldags past clients include General Motors,
IBM, Xerox, and Goldman Sachs.
Mr. Aldag holds a MS in Accounting/Financial Management and a BS in Commerce/Accounting both from the University of Virginia's McIntire School of Commerce in Charlottesville, VA.
